About Me

“As a Local Girl, my Passion for Brevard and unwavering commitment to its future is only possible due to my 45 years of calling it home.”

My Education

My parents brought me to Brevard County in 1976 when I was eight years old. I am a local kid. I attended Gemini Elementary and Hoover Junior High and graduated from Melbourne High School in 1987. I then enrolled and graduated from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) with a BA in Psychology before moving back home to Melbourne Beach. Once back in Brevard County, I took my first job at Devereaux in Suntree, where I was a teaching assistant to children with specific psychological and behavioral needs. From there, I worked as a family counselor for the Children’s Home Society’s Family Builder Program in Palm Bay. In 1996 I moved to the UK where I was certified in Conflict Resolution and worked as an All Issues Mediator.

My Career

Military Man

While London was beautiful, Brevard was calling. So, in 2002, I purchased a house in my hometown of Melbourne Beach. Upon returning home I was able to put my top-secret clearance to use once again by re-joining AirScan a Department of Defense surveillance company based out of Titusville While there, I applied my considerable skills supporting individuals dealing with stressful and complicated situations in our support of U.S. Military Warfighters in Iraq and Afghanistan. As the conflict in Iraq drew down, I chose to take my passion for helping others into the insurance world and now specialize in assisting individuals in making informed decisions as they navigate the challenges of joining the Medicare world. I am a business owner, licensed by the State of Florida, and hold a Florida 2-15 Life, Health & Variable Annuity license and work as an independent contractor.

My Politics

My passion for politics started early. At Hoover Junior High School I chose to join the student senate. This political spirit persisted, and I ran for and was elected as the junior and senior class president at Melbourne High School. In 2020 I was elected by a significant majority of Brevard Republicans to the position of Republican State Committeewoman for Brevard County where I am one of three representatives of our county at the state level within the Republican Party of Florida.

As your State Committeewoman, I have dedicated myself to assisting Republicans in winning elections across our county. It is also important to me that Republicans are perceived accurately. Brevard Republicans are of course fiscally conservative, care about voter integrity, are pro-life, want to reduce big government, proudly support our veterans, and protect our rights provided to us by the Constitution. However, Republicans also care about the health of our environment and the welfare of our children and families. So, I have spent hundreds of my own hours coordinating and participating in events across the county to improve the perception of conservative Republicans.

I am currently a proud member of the Brevard Republican Executive Committee where I was awarded “Republican of the Year in 2022”. I am also a member of the Space Coast Republican Club, Mom’s for Liberty, the Republican Women’s Club of Brevard, the Brevard Republican Club, and the Federated Republican Women in Action.

I Can Make A Difference

Brevard Beaches

Throughout my various careers and in life in general, I have always been drawn to positions where I could truly make a positive difference in people’s lives. This drive has now led me to want to represent the people of Brevard County and the citizens of District 3. I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to Keeping Brevard Amazing!!!

My Home Front

School Politics

On the home front, I am supported by a fantastic man, and my partner in crime, Adam! We recently sent Carson, whom we are exceptionally proud of, off to start his career in the U.S. Air Force (Aim High… Fly-Fight-Win).  Steadfast with us at home are our two dogs, Jaxon and Meeka.
